LM Tracks News
This is the first post on the LM Tracks news page - a place to share updates, new features, and data improvements as they land.
First, what is LM Tracks?
LM Tracks is an unofficial, fan-made site for finding the music behind Les Mills workout classes. It's not affiliated with or endorsed by Les Mills International Ltd.
The core idea is simple: after a class, it's often hard to remember what a particular song was called or who it's by. LM Tracks solves that by listing the full tracklist for every release, across every program, so a song can be tracked down by program and release number, or found directly through search by title or artist.
You can browse, search the songs you're looking for and favorite and build your own playlists by putting together a set of tracks you like that you want to revisit. Due to limitations on how Youtube, Spotify and Apple Music works on mobile in third-party apps, it's not possible to play the tracks while the app in the background, unfortunately.
Future Updates
This is very much a project in progress.
Longer term, the goal is to keep closing gaps in the data (missing tracks, wrong artist credits, unresolved streaming links), and to keep building tools that make the app easier to use, including launching a real app on Google Play and Apple App Store (will be launched some time after Android).
Feedback and bug reports are always welcome through the report buttons on any track or on the About page, where you'll also find a way to contact me directly if you wish.
Hope you enjoy using the app and thank you very much for the support!
